Find rest in the Lord!!
Psalm 46:10
Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the heathen. I will be exalted in the earth.
Finding rest in the Lord involves casting all our burdens, discomforts and worries on the Lord. This requires a giant step of faith.
Finding rest is a fusion of our trust in God, strengthening our faith and learning to wait for His move in quietness.
The verse above says when we do the things mentioned above we find rest in the Lord because He will exalt Himself.
The bible also says in Isaiah 26:33 that
He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him.
Meaning, those who trust in God completely will find peace and rest for their souls.
Philippians 4:6-7
Have no anxiety about anything but in everything by prayer and supplication….
This verse from the new testament encourages us not to worry but trust in God completely.
Find rest in the Lord.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Trust in God at all times and in all situations.
Prayer
Let this song be your confession and prayer
Find rest my soul
In Christ alone
Know His power
In quietness and trust.
When the oceans rage
And thunders roar
I will soar with you above the storm
Father you are king over the flood
I will be still
Know you are God
Amen.
