Fill me with your Spirit
Psalm 107:9
For He satisfieth the
longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness
To have a longing for something is to have a deep desire for that thing.
In the verse above, the Psalmist says, God satisfies the one with a strong desire and a hunger for things of the Spirit with good things.
Galatians 5:22-23 says
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
If you are filled with The Spirit of God then all the character traits mentioned above will be evident in your life.
Ephesians 5:18
And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit
Ask God to fill you with His Spirit, so that your life would be a reflection of all the good things associated with the Spirit of God.
