Fill me with your Spirit Lord
Joel 2:28
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your son’s and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream, dreams, your young men will see visions.

The verse above says God is going to pour His spirit “upon all flesh”, that is every living human being. The young, the old and our son’s and daughters (younger children). Each group of people would have a portion of the out- pouring of God’s spirit.

This verse is in the old testament and an almost identical verse can be found in the new testament. I believe that when verses are repeated God wants us to take note and respond as required.

Acts 2:17
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith the Lord, I will pour out of my spirit upon all flesh: and your son’s and daughters will prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

You know your age and in which group you fall. Let it be your heart’s desire to be filled with the spirit of God.

There are wars and rumors of war and conflicts. You hear of famine and drought and climate changes these are all things the bible says will happen in the last days.(Joel 2:30-32)

Pray each day for God to fill you with His spirit, so you can fulfill your mission in these last days.
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Individuals should prepare themselves for the outpouring of the spirit by studying the word, fasting and praying.
2. Churches and Christian organizations should teach about the last days at least once a year.
