2 Chronicles 15:7
Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded
It is very difficult to continue to work faithfully and sincerely when you receive no encouragement or words of praise.
This brings to mind an account in 1Samuel 30 where King David and his men went to battle and won the battle. However, when they returned home their families had been captured.
No one to welcome them and help them rejoice. His men were so discouraged that they wanted to stone King David. 1,Samuel 30:6 says
………David encouraged himself in the Lord.
He went back with his men and recovered all they had lost. The lesson from this story is that- do not give up in despair because of your circumstances. Encourage yourself in the Lord and move on.
As you work for the Lord there will be several things that will discourage you. Encourage yourself in the Lord, let not your hands be weak, knowing that your work will be rewarded.
1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that, your labour is not in vain
Whilst doing the work of the Lord, some might reject you and accuse you falsely but let nothing move you as the verse above says. Continue the good work.

Stop fretting tell it to Jesus
Some simple trusting will do, never give up……
Others may prosper around you
And you may have many many needs
And then you can’t surmount them
Endure a little while, never give up….
