IN HIS TIME

Eccelesiastes 3:1

To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the heaven.
Every event or project has a time on God’s calendar. Therefore we should not get worried when we do not receive answers to our requests from God immediately. He knows what you need at every point in time because He can see into the future. He will grant your request when it is appropriate for you to receive it.
2 Peter 3:8-9
But beloved, be not ignorant of this, one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
God has a bigger picture in mind. He is planning and directing all things such that all will be saved. Let’s keep trusting Him.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Ask God to give you the patience and grace to wait for His timing whenever you pray.
2. Always remember that delays do not necessarily mean denial. God is working on your request and would grant it at the appropriate time.
Prayer
Loving Father, thank you that your mercies endure forever. Help me to trust you at all times. Amen.
