Daily Word

Isaiah 55:8-9
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
According to this verse, God’s ways and thoughts are higher than ours. God’s plans for us are much better than ours because He can see into the future but we cannot. Commit your life into his hands and allow Him to have His way. You cannot see into the future therefore you cannot plan adequately for your life. You do not know what you will need and what you do not need but He knows.
Ephesians 3:20 says
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever.
It is better to leave your life in the hands of a God who can do much much more than you can ever think or imagine. Decide today to surrender your life, will, hope and desires to the Lord
God be with you.
How can I apply the word to my life?
1. You can commit your life into God’s hands by accepting Jesus as your Lord and savior. Be sure you are born again.
2. If you are not sure how to do this read Romans 10:9-10 and John 3:16.
3. Surrender your will, hope, and desires to God through prayer.
4. Ask Him to let His plan for your life be fulfilled.
