Christ died for you

Zephaniah 3:17
The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy; you will rest in His love, He will joy over thee with singing.

Some people think because they have committed serious sins like murder or fornication, they can never be forgiven and accepted into the kingdom of God.

The verse above says God is mighty, He will save and can save from any sin apart from blasphemy against the Holy Ghost.

1 John 3:16
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

Jesus laid down His life for everyone including YOU. Stop rejecting the love and blessings of God because you feel you do not deserve it. The Apostle Paul who once persecuted and killed many Christians was still saved and used greatly by God. Christ died to save all, accept the gift of salvation and be a christian and child of God.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. As we celebrate Easter, remember to thank God for sacrificing His son to save you.
2. Confess any sin you have committed and ask God for forgiveness.
3. If you know you are not obeying the commands of God, ask for grace and strength to live right.

Prayer
Wounded for me, wounded for me
There on the cross He was wounded for me.
Gone my transgressions and now I am free
All because Jesus was wounded for me. Amen.
