Bless thou the Lord!!!
Psalm 34:1
I will bless the Lord at all times
His praise shall continually be in my mouth

“Bless thou the Lord” means praise exalt and worship God. In the verse above the Psalmist says he will never stop praising, exalting and worshipping God. Why?

Psalm 103:2 says

Bless the Lord oh my soul and forget not all His benefits

Which implies that God has done so much for us we cannot forget about it or cease to praise, exalt and worship Him ( forget not His benefits,)

Matthew 5:6

Blessed are they who have never and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled

This verse from the new testament highlights the advantages or benefits of desiring to be upright or being righteous.

The bible says such people will b e “filled” or blessed abundantly

Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and enjoy all the benefits of being a child of God.

How can I apply the word to my life?

1. Pray for grace and strength to obey God’s commands always.
