Daily Word 🇬🇭

Bless the Lord!!
Psalm 103:2
Bless the Lord Oh my soul and forget not all His benefits

To “bless the Lord” means to praise, exalt and worship God. We can bless the Lord appropriately when we learn to count our blessings or forget not His benefits as the verse above says.

Learn to see the silver lining behind every cloud. Even when you are broke remember God has still kept you alive because He has good plans for your life.

The Apostle Paul should have given up fast on his ministry but he did not. He was arrested, beaten and imprisoned several times. He encountered shipwrecks, snake bites etc in his line of duty but he never gave up on his ministry.

In Philippians 1:21 he says
For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.

Meaning, once he was alive he will never give up on his ministry.

He says on Romans 8:28 that

All things work together for the good of them that love God who are called according to His purpose.

According to the verse above, it does not matter what misfortunes you encounter God can still make it benefit you if you trust Him completely.

Indeed, we serve a great God, so let us learn to praise, exalt and worship Him at all times.

The Psalmist says in Psalm 34:1 that
I will bless the Lord at all times, his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Matthew 6:9-10 reads
Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come

The passage above should guide our prayers and how we bless God.

1Thessalonians 5:18
In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you

This verse from the new testament reminds us that we need to thank God for everything that happens in our lives. The good and bad.

It is difficult to thank God in bad times but they could be set-ups for God to bring you great victory and glorify His name.
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Learn to bless the Lord at all times.

Prayer
Let this song be your confession and prayer

Bless the Lord, Oh my soul
Bless the Lord, Oh my soul
And all that is within me
Bless His Holy name
He has done great things
He has done great things
He has done great things
Bless His Holy Name.
Amen
