Numbers 6:24
The Lord bless thee and keep thee

” Bless me now” is a plea for divine favor and transformation.

That is the message in the verse above. It forms part of the benediction ministers pronounce on their congregation after church service on Sundays

Scripture says in
Matthew 5:8 that
Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God

The verse immediately above gives a condition required to receive God’s blessings. You have to be pure in heart. The other reasons are given in the beatitudes given in Matthew 5:3-12

James 1:25b
Whoever looks intently into the perfect law and continues in it …..
this man shall be blessed in whatever he does ( paraphrased)

This verse from the new testament reaffirms the fact that God’s blessings are based on conditions

Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and experience abundant blessings from God.
