The Lord bless thee and keep thee

” Bless me now” means let me receive your favor. Or let me experience your goodness and mercy, just as the verse above says

Scripture also says in Psalm 103:1 that

Bless the Lord O my soul and all that is within me….

Meaning, we also need to praise and give honor to God

Matthew 5:6
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled

This verse from the new testament tells us what to do to get the blessing of the Lord. We need to genuinely desire to live right as the Lord desires

Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and enjoy the blessings of the Lord
