Behold I come quickly!!
Joel2:28
In the last days the Lord will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh….. ( Paraphrased)

” Behold , I come quickly” implies that the Lord will come so fast that we might be unprepared for His coming.

Yet, this phrase is found in the Bible which was written about 2000:years ago. Does this mean that this part of the Bible is irrelevant now?

No , it is just a confirmation of the fact, that God does everything in His time and His timing is different from ours.

If He says call onto me and I will answer… ( Jeremiah 33:3) . It does not mean He will answer immediately, it might take a day, a week, a year but you can be certain His answer will come at the right time that you need it.

2 Peter 3:8 says that

But, beloved do not be ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day

There is another verse in the old testament , just like the one above. God will always respond to our needs on time.

The verse above Joel 2:28 says in the last days , meaning when the coming of the Lord is near, He will pour His Spirit upon all flesh and people will do wonders

Eight and ten year olds are going to the studio these days to record songs with video clips attached . This is a miracle and a confirmation of the out pouring of God’s Spirit

Revelations 22:12
And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as His work shall be

This verse from the new testament has already been explained above.

The Lord will certainly come through for us in our time of need
God be with you
