Beauty for ashes!!
Isaiah 61:3
….. to give unto beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified.

“Beauty for ashes” is a figurative expression for the beautiful picture of what God can do in the lives of the under privileged and unfortunate people in society.

He can take away memories and symbols of pain experienced in the past and replace it with hope and joy like the verse above says.

Scripture also says in Ecclesiastes 3:11 that

…. He makes all things beautiful in His time

And Romans 8:28 says

…. all things work together for the good of them that love God who are called according to His purpose

Meaning, God has a way of compensating us for our misfortunes by turning things around to favor us.

Pholilippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always: again I say, Rejoice

This verse from the new testament gives us the key to obtaining ” beauty for ashes”

Rejoicing always, in good times and bad times with the firm assurance that God will turn things around for your good.

I see the bright and morning sun
And it ushers in His joyful gladness
