Be STILL!!
Psalm 46:10
Be still and know that I am God,I will exalted among the heathen. I will be exalted in the earth

To be still means stop fretting, stop worrying. Stay calm, do not be anxious for God is in control.

The verse above says:
Be still, because God is more than able to prove His great power and miracle working abilities.

Ephesians 3:20 says
Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ever ask or think….

The God we serve is an amazing, wonder working God. With Him on our side, there is nothing to fear or worry about. He has everything under control and He will guide us to success and excellence when we trust Him.

Philippians 4:5-6
Have no anxiety about anything but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving……

This verse from the new testament tells us what to do instead of fretting or worrying. We should pray in a mood of Thanksgiving ( having the confidence that God will make a way) and present our requests before God.

God will give us the peace we need
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Trust God completely.

Meditate on the words of this hymn

Be still my soul
The Lord is on thy side
Bear patiently
The cross of grief or pain
Leave to thy Lord
To order and provide him
In every change
He faithful will remain
Be still my soul
Thy best, thy heavenly friend
Through thorny ways
Leads to a joyful end
