Be GLORIFIED Lord
Psalm 29:1-2
Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty, give unto the Lord glory and strength. Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness

To glorify is to praise and honor someone or something. “Be GLORIFIED Lord” means making known the Lord’s excellence. Praising and honoring the Lord. Like the Psalmist does in the passage above.

The bible says in Exodus 15:11 that

Among the God’s who is like you. You are glorious in holiness, fearful in praising. Doing wonders

According to the verse above, glorifying God involves:
– Showing that there is no other God like Him. This is confirmed by the Lord’s good works ( Lamentations 3:22-23)
– Showing that the Lord is holy (Revelations 4:8)
-Showing that the Lord works wonders ( Psalm 46:10)

Matthew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

This verse from the new testament says another way of glorifying God is through our good works like;
– Giving to the poor and needy ( Galatians 6:9)
– Bearing one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2)
– Loving your neighbor as yourself. ( Matthew 22:39)

By doing the things mentioned above, God is glorified through us.
