Be an example
Micah 6:8
He has told you, Oh man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you, but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God

God has already shown us through several verses in the bible what is right and what is wrong and what is required of us as the verse above says.

Matthew 5:13-16; says
We are the salt and light of this world. We are supposed to set a good example for others to follow.

The world cannot do without salt and light. Salt has medicinal values , it heals wounds, it is a preservative and it is a spice, it makes food taste better. Light also has medicinal values (radiations from light are used in cancer treatment which has saved a lot of lives), it gives direction and it is a form of energy.

Always remember that you are the salt and light of this world. The world cannot do without you so set a good example.

1 Peter 2:16
Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of the Lord

This verse from the new testament is also encouraging christians to set a good example.

When we set a good example, we glorify God and draw others to the kingdom of God.(Matthew 5:16)

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Strive to set a good example in all you do.
