Be aglow for Jesus!!!
Isaiah 60:1
Arise, shine for thy light is come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you

The verse above says it is time for us as Christians to shine the light and love God has shared abroad in our hearts and minds.

To be aglow for Jesus means to shine or glow with happiness and excitement for Jesus.

It is like being on fire for the Lord or being over zealous for the Lord.

Scripture says in Psalm 37:4 that

Delight yourself in the Lord and He shall grant thee the desires of your heart.

To delight in the Lord is also like being aglow for Jesus. It involves taking pleasure in obeying the commands of the Lord and living to please Him

Matthew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.

This verse from the new testament reminds us that we need to let our light shine by doing good works. We need to be kind to the poor and afflicted. Deliver the oppressed, give hope to the downtrodden and bring the message of salvation to all mankind.

This is our duty as Christians and ambassadors of Christ

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Doing good works should be part of your agenda for each day
