I receive your grace!!
Isaiah 43:1-2
…….I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the water it shall not overwhelm you and through the fire, you shall not be burned….

Grace is usually defined as undeserved favor. It cannot be earned; it is given freely. As christians we count on God’s grace and the bridge it built in our relationship with Him.

The passage above implies that once we receive the gift of salvation, we belong to God, ( ..I have called you by name you are mine)

As God’s prized possessions ( He bought us with the blood of Jesus), He keeps watch over us, 24/7 and will let no harm befall us.

This relationship and protection has been given to us by grace. Because although we are christians we do not always obey God we sometimes err.

Scripture says in 1 Corinthians 15:10 that
The Apostle Paul speaking

By the grace of God, I am who I am…

You are who you are today not because of your righteousness or any good you have done but by God’s grace.

Continue to pray and receive the grace of God so you can become what God created you to be.

2 Corinthians 12:9
My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness….

This verse from the new testament reminds us of what the grace of God can do in our lives. It says that the grace of God is made perfect in our weakness.

Meaning, it is when we are most vulnerable that the grace of God abounds in our lives.

Pray each day that you may receive the grace of God. Beginning the day by saying:

Lord I receive your grace!!!
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Pray for the grace of God to perfect all you do on a daily basis.
