Arise and build!!! arises
Nehemiah 2:20
Then answered I them, and said unto them, The God of heaven, He will prosperous; therefore we His servants will arise and build: but ye have no portion nor right, nor memorial, in Jerusalem.

“Arise and build” means forget about your inabilities or the opposition you face. Reposition yourself, change your strategy, change your attitude and get to work.

That was what Nehemiah was telling the Israelites when they faced opposition from Samballat and Tobias as they rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem.

We all as Christians have challenges, obstacles in our way and face trials as we try to fulfill our mission as ambassadors of Christ

Scripture says in 2 Timothy 1:7 that

For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind.

It is not unusual to become intimated when we face opposition. The verse above says God has given us power, love and a sound mind to do our God- given assignments. Push thoughts of fear and failure aside and trust God.

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me

This verse from the new testament say as we push fear of opposition aside and trust God, He will give us the strength we need to fulfill our ministry.
