Activate the power of God
Psalm 97:5
The hills melted like wax in the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

Experiencing the presence of God can be defined as having a close and personal encounter with God.

A songwriter wrote:
In your presence
I am content
In your presence, Lord I am content
In you presence there is joy
Expressions of your love
And revelations of your power and might
In your presence, I can bring a gladsome offering
Am in the presence of my King

The songwriter lists the benefits of experiencing the presence of God in the song above. You can experience several things including having a revelation of God’s power and might.

This implies that you can activate the power of God by dwelling in His presence. In other words, you can activate the power of God by creating an atmosphere that brings the presence of God.

You can create an atmosphere with the presence of God by praying and singing praise and worship songs. (Psalm 98:1)

Matthew 18:20
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them

The verse above states that you can also create the presence of God when two or more people come together to worship God.

Maintaining the presence of God in your life as a christian is very important because it activates the power of God to do wonders in your life. Moses said he will not do what God wanted him to do if His presence was not with him.( Exodus 33:15)

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Begin each day with a prayer time, interspersed with praise and worship songs.
2. End the day in the same way before you sleep.
