Abide in Him
Psalm 91:1-4
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty and I will say of the Lord , He is my refuge…..

To “abide in Him” or abide in the Lord means you continually receive, believe and trust in the Lord for everything you need.

In the passage above, the Psalmist says if you abide or dwell, or remain or stay constantly in the presence of God, He becomes your refuge and strength.

The bible says in Proverbs 18:10 that

The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and are safe.

It is prudent (wise) then as a christian to abide continually in the Lord.

John 15:7
If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you will and it shall be done unto you.

This verse from the new testament also confirms that it prudent to abide in the Lord. Why?

If you abide in the Lord always He will grant you all you need. ( ….ask whatever you will and it shall be done unto you)
God be with you

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Learn to dwell constantly in the presence of God, singing praises, praying and studying His word for direction in life.

Meditate on the words of this song

If you abide in me
And my words abide in you
Ask what you will
And it shall be done unto you.
