A very present help
Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in the time of trouble

When you look at the life of the Prophets and the Apostles who tried to present messages from God, you realize that they faced a lot of persecution and opposition.

But like the verse above says God is a present help in time of trouble, meaning God always provided a way out of their various persecutions and opposition.

Fulfilling your calling as an ambassador of Christ does not mean you will not face opposition because you are doing the will of God.

But God has promised to strengthen and help you in the time of trouble ( Isaiah 41:10).

Daniel was put in the lion’s den, the three Hebrew boys were put in a burning furnace, the Apostle James was beheaded… And the list of atrocities go on and on.

Do not get discouraged when you meet opposition in ministry. It will strengthen you for the task ahead.

Luke 21:15
For I will give you utterance and wisdom which none of your adversaries will be able to gainsay nor resist

This verse from the new testament gives an answer to one major problem people face in soul winning. What should I say?

The verse above says God through His Spirit will give you wisdom and show you what to say. Pray and ask for help and direction before you begin to speak.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Pray for God to give you the courage and perseverance to fulfill your ministry.
