A grateful heart!!
Psalm 118:1
Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His mercy endures forever

“A grateful heart” is a heart full of
thanksgiving and gratitude. The verse above is encouraging christians to be thankful because God continues to bless us continuously in spite of our disobedience and ungratefulness.

Scripture also says in Lamentations 3:22-23 that

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never will come to an end. They are new every morning Great is thy Faithfulness

Meaning , God continues to to grant us fresh supplies of His goodness and mercy each day no matter what happens. God does not hold back His love, goodness and mercy even when we are disobedient

1 Thessalonians 5:18
In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

This verse from the new testament emphasizes the need to thank God always in good times and bad time.

In good times we thank Him for His many blessings and in bad times we thank Him for the victory He will give us.

Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and enjoy God’s goodness and mercy always .
