A friend of God!!!
Isaiah 41:8
But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend
” A friend of God” signifies an intimate, trusted and reciprocal relationship with the creator. A relationship like the one Abraham had with God stated in the verse above.
Jeremiah 33:3 says
Call on me and I will answer and show you great and hidden things you do not know
God will answer our prayers and show as things we do not know because we are His friends.
John 15:15 also says
I have called you friends for everything that I learned from my Father, I have made known to you
James 2:23
Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness, and he was called God’s friend
This verse from the new testament reaffirms the fact that Abraham was God’s friend and we can all become God’s friends if we are righteous or live right according to the word of God
Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and become the friend of God.
