He will do it again
By Evangeline Unity Esaaba Folson
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and ever.
This verse brings to mind a song by Shurley Caeser that says:
——–Right now it seems
There’s no way out
And you’re going under
But God’s proved it
Time and time again
H will take care of you
He’ll do it again for you
He’ll do it again
Just take a look at
Where you’ve been
And where you are now
Hasn’t He always come through for you
He’s the same now as then (Don’t you know God never changes)
You may not know how
You may not know when
But he’ll do it again.
The words of the song are so powerful and it explains what
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever” means.
God can also do it again. the miracles, the healings, the financial and spiritual breakthroughs etc.
Jesus Christ is the same because:
- He never changes
Malachi 3:6
- He is the alpha and the Omega
Revelations 1:8
- God is “I Am”
Exodus 3:14
- He is the lion of the tribe of Judah
Revelations 5:5
- His mercies are new every morning
Lamentations 3:22-23
He never changes
Malachi 3:16
“for I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consume.
God is the same because He does not change as the verse above says.
His love, compassion, power, abilities do not change. They will remain the same now and forever more therefore what did, the miracles, signs and wonders he did as summarized in the bible can be done now. He will do everything again, if He has to.
He is the Alpha and Omega
Revelations 1:8
I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come the Almighty.
According to the verse above, He was there before the beginning and will be there after the ending. He is the same. What He did 2,000 years ago He can do now and later. He will do it again of you will trust Him completely and wait patiently for Him to move on your behalves.
God is “I AM”
Exodus 3:4
And God said unto Moses, “I AM THAT I AM: He said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
“I AM” mean, God was he is and will forever be. The length of His days are infinite and He is immortal God.
What He did yesterday He can do now and in some years to come. He will do it again if it is necessary to protect and deliver His own.
He is the lion of the tribe of Judah
Revelations 5:5
But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals”.
Being the “lion of the tribe of Judah “means Jesus is as bold and fierce as a lion. That is why He was able to go through all the pain and torture on the cross, died and resurrected, to give all mankind salvation and freedom from the grip of the evil one.
Jesus is still as bold and fierce as a lion and can and will redeem us from any evil attack.
He will redeem us over and over again if He has to.
“He will do it again”
His mercies are new every morning
Lamentations 3:22-23
The steadfast love of the lord never ceases, His mercies never will come to an end. They are new every morning great is your faithfulness.
The passage above says God’s mercies are new every morning for great is His faithfulness. This confirms that God is the same, yesterday today, and forever. What He did yesterday He can do today and forever.
“He will do it again” if you continue to trust Him completely.
