He will be faithful to complete it
He will be faithful to complete it

Philippians 1:6
Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work I your will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
The message bible translates this verse as:
There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears.
There are a few phrases in the verse quoted above that will be commented on:
- Being confident
Romans 8:38-39
Jeremiah 32:17
- Started a good /great work
Isaiah 43:1-3
Romans 8:28
Isaiah 41:10
- Will bring to a flourishing finish
1 Thessalonians 5:24
Joel 2:25-26
Being confident
Jeremiah 32:17
Ah Lord God! Behold thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.
The verse above emphasizes the fact that since God created the heaven and earth, He has all power such that there is nothing too difficult for Him to do. He can do all things. No matter how complex your problem or how gloomy your circumstance, God can and will deliver you if you trust Him completely.
Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Nothing we can think of or imagine can separate us from the love of God. We should believe this without any doubt. The agape, unconditional love for God does not depend on performance or good works. God loves us all unconditionally that is why He desire not every living things has the opportunity to hear the message of salvation and decide from his/her own free will to accept or reject the gift of salvation. God will not force anyone to accept salvation. We can be certain or sure of this fact.
There is a Sunday school song that says:
Jesus loves me, this I know
For the bible tells me so
Little ones to Him belong
They are weak but He is strong
Yes, Jesus love me
Yes, Jesus love me
The bible tells me so.
Be certain and believe that God loves you.
He who started a good/great work
But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, fear not! For I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine……………
The passage above says God has redeemed us, that is all God’s children. Redemption is a good/great thing because no one wants to live in bondage: verse 2 and 3 gives examples of things God has redeemed us from. Water and fire represents all the challenges, trails and temptations we go through. We have been redeemed from them all. Next time you encounter any difficulty, claim redemption by confessing Isaiah 43:1-3
We have been redeemed once and for all until Jesus comes. Ours is to keep trusting, living and serving God faithfully.
Isaiah 41:10
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
The verse above is a confirmation of the fact that God will ensure that He maintain our liberty until Christ comes. In times of trouble, He will streng5then us, he will help us, he will uphold us with His right hand of righteousness.
Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
God can and will combine the good and bad occurrence in our life in such a way that they will benefit us. We need not fear, He is more than able to do this.
Just remember the life of Joseph, Jacob’s or Israel’s son, he was sold into slavery, put in prison but eventually God raised him to a place of honor. Read the full story from Genesis 37-Genesis 44. There are other stories with similar lessons to confirm that God is able and can do all things.
Will bring to a flourishing finish
Joel 2:25-26
And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the canker worm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
Am ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
In the passage above, God promises to restore what we have lost. It does not matter the gravity or magnitude of your loss, He will restore like He did for Job in the book of Job in the old testament of the bible. Please read the book of Job
1 Thessalonians 5:24
Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
God is faithful and whatever he promised, He will do.
