He Makes All Things Beautiful in His Own Time
He Makes All Things Beautiful in His Own Time
By Evangeline Unity Esaaba Folson
He hath made everything beautiful in His time, also He hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
The Bible is Basic English Translation says:
He has made everything right in its time; but He has made their heart without knowledge, so that man is unable to see the works of God from the first to the last.
This verse should set a lot of hearts and minds at peace. There are countless numbers of people living with the burden of:
- False accusations
- Wrong judgement
- Character defamation etc.
God assures such people in the verse above that He will make everything right. Not in our time but in His own time when it is right and appropriate to do so.
To ensure that God vindicates you or clear you of blame and suspicion you must
- Not seek revenge
Romans 12:19
- Forgive
Romans 12:17
Matthew 6:12
- Avoid being bitter
Proverbs 17:22
1 Peter 4:8
You must not seek revenge
Romans 12:19
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, vengeance is mine; I will repay saith the Lord.
Revenge is not helpful for humans at all. You might end up doing something worse than the one who offended you and end up getting a more grievous punishment from God.
Just allow God to take charge, He knows what is the best for you. Even if God decided to forgive the offender and let him/her go free with no punishment, accept it in good faith.
He is the Lord, and He is fair and just. If a man repents of his/her Sin, it must be forgiven.
You must forgive
Romans 12:17
Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
Another translation says:
Don’t pay back anyone for their evil actions for evil actions, but show respect for what everyone else believe is good.
It is better to forgive and forget than to harbor pain and sorrow in your heart. You end up hurting yourself. You could develop a medical condition like hypertension, which could easily lead to more serious medical conditions.
Matthew 6:12
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
You are also human and prone to Sin against God and offend other people as well. You also need forgiveness as the verse above says, you must forgive those who offend you if you want God to forgive you.
Avoid being bitter
Proverbs 17:22
A merry heart doeth good like medicine, but a broken Spirit drieth the bones.
The Good News Translation of the verse above says
Being cheerful keeps you healthy. It is slow death to be gloomy all the time.
From the verse above, being bitter or gloomy is like poison, it kills you slowly. Do not hold grudges against those who offend you.
Trust God to make things right in the fullness of time. From the verse above, being bitter or gloomy is like poison, it kills you slowly. Do not hold grudges against those who offend you. Trust God to make things right in the fullness of time.
1 Peter 4:8
And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
The common English version of the verse above says:
Above all, show sincere love to each other, because love brings about the forgiveness of many sins.
Agape love as desorbed in 1 Corinthians 13 can genuinely forgive sin and free you from all bitterness and conflict.
Keep trusting God, He will make things right.
