Be careful for nothing
Be careful for nothing
By Evangeline Unity Esaaba Folsom
Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let you your request be known into God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
To be careful for nothing means not being anxious or worried about situations and issues that do not fall in line with your expectations.
For example you need money to pay your child’s school fees, your account is almost empty and you do not know where the money is going to come from. Are you going to borrow from a friend or the bank? Your balance is low can you take a loan?
Instead of spending time worrying or contemplating on what to do, you decide to pray. Days go by and there is still no hope from anywhere, but because you have prayed you stay calm and wait for God to move.
This is very difficult thing to do if your hope is not in God. When you pray and cast your cares on God there is no need to worry (Be careful for nothing) because:
- God is faithful
1Thessalonians 5:24
Isaiah 55:11
- God never changes
Hebrews 13:8
Exodus 3:14
- God is all-powerful
Psalm 46:10
Jeremiah 32:27
Isaiah 55:11
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return until me void but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the whereto I sent it.
1Thessalonians 5:24
Faithful is He that called you, who also will do it.
God is faithful, He keeps His word, therefore, there is no need to be anxious and worry. He says He is with you, till the end of the world (Matthew 28:20)
Furthermore, He says He will not leave you nor forsake you (Joshua 1:5)
Worrying is a waste of time and energy. Spend that time praising and worshipping God and also thanking Him for the victory, He will give you over you to excel in whatever you do no matter what happens.
Exodus 3:14
And God said into Moses, I AM THAT I AM; and He said, thus shall thou say into the Children of Israel, I AM hath sent me into you
Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever.
In Exodus 3:14, God said He is “I AM”
Present continues, that is, He was, He is and always will be “I AM” He will never change.
In Hebrew 13:8, it says He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He will never change. He will continue to love protect and direct you to excel in in whatever you do, no matter what happens.
He will never allow your enemies to destroy you when you fall, you will rise up, you greatest mountain will be a plain before you if you pray and trust God. He will give you peace in the midst of confusion.
God is all-powerful Psalm 46:10
Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will exalteth in the earth.
Jeremiah 32:27
Behold, I am the Lord the God of all flesh: Is there anything too hard for me?
Always remember in the time of trouble that God has all power to deliver you from whatever trial or temptation you find yourself in.
God has all power to deliver you from whatever trial or temptation you find yourself in.
There is no need to worry about how dangerous the winds or waves are, you be close to destruction but pray and believe that God can bring dead situations to live again just as He did to the dry bone in Ezekiel. He put them all back together, piece by piece, and brought them to live again.
Conclusion
No matter how challenging the Situation you find yourself in, pray and trust God, do not worry, He will give you victory
