You were bought with a price
1 Corinthians 6:20
For ye are bought with a prices: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s

The verse above clearly states that each and every christian was bought with a price

The sin of Adam and Eve placed all mankind under the power of the evil one. God had no choice but to sacrifice His only begotten Son to redeem us from the grip of the evil one.

The blood Jesus shed on the cross is the price He paid for our redemption. No one but Christ can sacrifice His life to save others.
John 15:13 says
Greater love has no man but this, that a man should sacrifice His life for his friends.

To show our appreciation for this great sacrifice we have to glorify God in our body and spirit by praying to stay away from all sins that defile the body, fornication, homosexuality, alcoholism, addiction to hard drugs like marijuana and cocaine etc

In 2022, determine to stay away from all sins that defile the body. Reflect on your actions in 2021 that might have defiled your body. Pray for God to forgive you and cleanse you from all sin and give you the grace to stay pure.

Suggestions for success
1. Set one day out of every week in 2022 to fast and pray for God to help you stay pure and fulfill your new year resolutions.

Lord help me to stay pure and live to please you in all I do.
