Rejoice!!
Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord, again I say rejoice

“Rejoice” is an active, deep seated state of gladness rooted in a relationship with God.

In the verse above , the Apostle Paul encourages christians to celebrate or rejoice no matter the situation we are in good or bad. This gives glory to God and moves Him to act on our behalf

Several times in our line of duty as students, workers and ambassadors of Christ we may be disappointed

– You have studied thoroughly for examinations and you have won souls for the kingdom. You prayed for an “A” but you only got a “C”. What do you do? Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for God knows what is best for you

– You have worked hard in the factory all year ( Sometimes you stay in late to finish orders) and you have shared the salvation message with several people, you were expecting an award but you missed it. What do you do? Rejoice and be exceedingly glad for God knows what is best for you

– As an ambassador of Christ you have shared the salvation message with friends and family members. You prayed for a breakthrough in your personal ministry. You have not yet received it. What do you do? Rejoice and be exceedingly glad for God will certainly move on your behalf

Habakkuk 3:17-18 says
Though the fig tree fails to blossom and no fruit be on the vine……Yet I will rejoice in you my Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation

Meaning, your expectation may not have been met but you will still rejoice because you know God will certainly move on your behalf
