Love covers a multitude of sins!!
1 Peter 4:8
……. For love covers a multitude of sins.

“Love covers a multitude of sins” this statement comes from 1Peter 4:8, the verse above. The word “cover” in this context means love for bears or puts up with a lot of things.

It also means that love covers a lot of flaws. Scripture also says in 1 Corinthians 13: 7 that

Love bears all things, believes all things , hopes all things and endures all things. (Paraphrased)

Meaning, genuine love or agape love, the sacrificial love exhibited by God towards humans can overcome all things.

In our line of duty as students, workers and ambassadors of Christ, we are bound to be offended in one way or the other. But we should not let offences prevent us from fulfilling our mission on earth. Love should cover a multitude of sins.

If you face hostility find another way of presenting your message.

The Apostle Paul said he has become all things to all men that by all means some may be saved..( paraphrased) 1 Corinthians 9:22
