Order my steps
Psalm 119:133
Order my steps in your word Lord Jesus and let not any inquiry have dominion over me

When you say, “Order my steps” you are asking God to take control of your life and lead you to fulfill His plans for your life. Steps taken by your own will because of lack of knowledge could lead to destruction.

In the verse above, the psalmist is asking God to order his steps so that sin does not take control of his life.

As students, workers and ambassadors of Christ, we need God to order our steps so we do not:
– Cheat in examinations because we did not use our time well. We may have wasted our time doing other things instead of studying
– Waste time as workers doing unnecessary things like having long conversations on phone. We should give our best at work as Christians so that God will be glorified.
– Put the name of God into disrepute as we seek for help as ambassadors of Christ to fulfill our ministry.

In all that we do, we should put God first and He will direct us to success

Matthew 6:33 says

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.
God be with you

Suggestions for success
1. At the beginning of each week
ask God for direction before you do anything.

2. Remember to thank God at the end of the week as you reflect over your success and failures.
