What shall I render to my God?
Psalm 150
….. let everything that hath breath praise the Lord.
When you say, “What shall I render to my God” it means you acknowledge the fact that God has done so much for you and you want to show your appreciation.
It is another way of saying if it had not been for the Lord on my side, where would I be?
The whole of Psalm 150 is a praise song to the Lord. The last verse above is a command to all Christians and non-christians ( everything that has breathe) to praise the Lord to show their appreciation for His many blessings:
– He gives life each day to both Christians and non- Christians
– The wind, rain, sun , water, food, clothing and shelter are presented to all humans.
What can you do to show your appreciation? The answer can be found in
Ecclesiastes 12:13
This is the conclusion of the whole matter, fear God and keep His commands for this is the whole duty of man.
Beloved student, worker and ambassador of Christ, show your appreciation to God for His many blessings each day by:
– Praising Him daily in song, words and your lifestyle.
How do you praise God through your lifestyle?
By letting your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.
( Matthew 5:16)
God be with you
Suggestions for success
1. Praise God each day for the gift if life.
2. Praise God each evening for taking you safely through the day
Prayer
Meditate on the words of this hymn
What shall I render to my God
For all His mercy store
I take the gift
He offers me
And humbly ask for more.
Amen.
