My peace I give unto you!!
John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world

The phrase”My peace I give unto you refers to Christ’s peace which refers to the hope and reassurance we can have in the Lord in a fallen world or a world of violence and crime.

In the verse above, Jesus cautions His disciples of the trouble or persecution they will face for following Him. However, they should not give up because He has overcome the World and they also can if they trust in Him. He will give them His peace.

As students, workers and ambassadors of Christ let us put our trust in God while we try to overcome the many obstacles in our way:

-Peer pressure and worldly pleasures that tempt students can be overcome by obeying the word of God. ( No temptation has overtaken you….. God is faithful with the temptation He will make a way of escape 1 Corinthians 10:13)

– Favoritism or victimization that workers face sometimes can be overcome with the word of God ( Do not grow weary in well- doing for in due season you will reap… Galatians 6:9)

– Rejection and un acceptance that ambassadors of Christ sometimes face can be overcome with the word of God ( Blessed are you when men shall…. For great is your reward in heaven Matthew 5:11-12)

Always remember, that Christ has already given you His peace.
