He shall renew thy strength

Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

The verse above says, they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, that is:
– God will restore the strength they have lost
– And give them additional strength to help complete whatever task is ahead of them

In Acts 9, when the Apostle Paul had an encounter with the Lord, he was struck with blindness for three days, he did not eat or drink

As he waited for the Lord to move on his behalf, God sent Ananias to pray for him to restore his sight and endued him with power for his ministry.

In the same way, you may be worn out with the monotony of classes or lectures as well as studying. Exam time is close, next month. What will you do?

You have a big order to honor in the next few days, but you are worn-out, you have been working continuously for two weeks. What will you do?

Your church has a big program next month. How do you raise enough funds, honor rehearsals, planning committee meetings etc ?

Pray, and wait for the Lord through confession of the word with praise and thanksgiving. The bible says you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13). It also says in Galatians 6:9 that do not grow weary in well doing, you will reap your harvest, success or receive your reward in due season
God be with you.

Suggestions for success
1. To prepare adequately for 2022, start planning a personal time of prayer and fasting. It does not have to be several days, even one day is enough.
2. The agenda for the prayer and fasting time should include:
– A personal reflection of your activities in 2021
-How to improve areas where you under-performed
– How to maintain successes in school, work and ministry.
– Pray and thank God for success in 2022.
– This time of prayer and fasting should be before the big 31st All night.

Prayer
Lord, help me wait for your move at all times in order to renew and refresh my strength.
Amen
