Speak to me, Lord Jesus!!
1 Samuel 3:10
And the Lord came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.

“Speak to me Lord” means let me know your mind on this issue. The Holy Spirit lives in our hearts as Christians, so God does speak to us. In the present, God speaks to us through the Holy Spirit, the Bible, prayer our circumstances and through Prophets or prophecy. In a few cases through an audible voice.

In the past, God often spoke directly to His own in an audible voice like He spoke to the boy Samuel in the verse above.

Scripture says in 1 Corinthians 2:16 that

We have the mind of God

Meaning, that our minds our transformed when we accept the gift of salvation.

Dear student, worker and ambassador of Christ, seek to know God’s mind concerning every step you take in your studies, career and ministry as an ambassador of Christ.

In times when you want to know what course, career or type of ministry you should pursue do not rely only on:

– The course that seems easy or the course that most people are studying
– The career that will earn you a lot of money or the profession that employs a lot of people
– The ministry that looks very attractive like preaching in the pulpit or singing or prophecy
All these things are very important but Romans 12:2 says

Do not conform to the standards of the world but let your mind be renewed based on scripture or the mind of God. ( paraphrased)

Your prayer each day and in every step you take in life should be speak to me Lord, let me know your mind on the step I intend to take
God be with you

Suggestions for success
1. Commit your activities in the coming week into God’s hand ask Him to show you how to please Him in all you do.
