God has chosen the weak
1 Corinthians 1:27
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty

God has chosen the weak means, God has chosen the unworthy according to the standards of the world.

In my opinion God chooses the weak because:
– He wants everyone to know that it is not by our own power and might that we do great things for the Lord but it is by the power of the Spirit of God . Zechariah 4:6
-God resists the proud and uplifts the humble. James 4:6

How can we apply this principle to our lives:
-As students we should not put on the attitude of “knowing everything” but should be humble and always ready to learn
– At work, no matter our position or qualification we should be humble and willing to learn always even from our subordinates
– As ministers or ambassadors of Christ we should be ready to learn methods of communication and witnessing from as many people or men of God as possible. Listen to sermons on TV, radio and the internet in addition to what you get at your own church.

Reflect on your life as a student, worker and minister of God and determine where you can make changes in order to excel in all you do.
