Luke 12:35
Stay dressed for action and keep your lamps burning

” Keep me burning” refers to maintaining a Spirit- led faith and a devoted relationship with God

The verse above says we should live each day dressed and prepared for action. Action in this context refers to preaching the word of God and living to please Him

As students , workers and ambassadors of Christ we have responsibilities each day at home, school and our ministry

– A student should start each day prepared with a word he or she can share with friends. It is God’s word that keeps us burning or prepared for action

– A worker should also start each day with scripture verses he can share with colleagues at work. It is the word of God that keeps you burning or fills you with zeal to do the work of God

– An ambassador of Christ should also prepare verses for preaching the word each day. It is the word of God in your life that keeps you burning or fills you with zeal and enthusiasm for ministry

Psalm 119: 133 says
Order my steps in your word, and let no inquiry have dominion over my life ( paraphrased)

Meaning, God should direct your steps to fall in line with the plan He has for your life. Keep studying the Bible to keep you burning each day
