1 Samuel 3:10
….,Speak for thy servant heareth( paraphrased)

“Speak Lord” is a prayerful plea for guidance, revelation and instruction.

Like the boy Samuel in the verse above we should learn to ask God to speak to us.

Jeremiah 33:3 says

Call on me and I will answer and show you great and hidden things you do not know

God assures us that when we call on him through prayer, He will answer

Revelations 3:20
Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door….

This verse from the new testament says God is constantly knocking on the door of our hearts, waiting for an invitation to come in

Have you already opened the door of your heart to the Lord? If not you can accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10)
