1 Chronicles 16:36
Blessed be the Lord God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said Amen, and praised the Lord

” Amen” simply means, so be it or may it be so. It is used to affirm truth or express agreement with a prayer or statement. Just like in the verse above

Revelation 22:20b says
……, Surely I come quickly. Amen

The Amen signifies agreement with the Lord coming quickly.

1 Corinthians 1:20
As many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes and Amen ( paraphrased)

This verse from the new testament affirms the fact that the Lord’s promises are available to all christians

Accept the gift of salvation today ( Romans 10:9-10) and enjoy the benefits of serving an amazing God.
