What will you exchange for your soul?
Mark 8:37
…what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Jesus paid a price to purchase and redeem your soul. It is only your soul that will live after life here on earth. Your soul and not your body will go to heaven.

The question “What will you exchange for your soul” means what are you willing to sacrifice your salvation for even if it means losing the honor of spending eternity with God in heaven.

That is what the verse above says. There is nothing in this world worthy for anyone to sacrifice his or her soul for. Why?

Everything in this world including the world itself will be destroyed one day.

Revelations 21:1-5 confirms this

Beloved student, worker and ambassador of Christ let your ultimate aim in all your dealings be to please God.

We brought nothing into this world, and we cannot take anything when we are leaving. The treasure we build in heaven and our dedicated service to God will speak for us.
