Jesus pleads for us all!!
Romans 8:34
…. Jesus is seated at the right hand of God interceding for us.

“Jesus pleads for us all ” means Jesus is pleading on the behalf of all those who have put their trust in Him for their salvation.

As Christians and as humans we fail God constantly. Though we know what God requires of us we are unable to obey Him always because of our weaknesses.

Like the Apostle Peter we may deny Jesus several times through our actions or act rashly in defence of our Lord ( like Peter cut off the ear of one of the soldiers who came to arrest Jesus) But Jesus keeps pleading with God on our behalf for God to give us another chance.

The Apostle Peter later did great things for the kingdom of God after he was given another chance:
– He was the first disciple to preach to a crowd after the day on Pentecost ( Acts 2)
– He healed the lame man at the beautiful gate

– He was released from prison by an angel after prayer. Acts 12

As students ,workers and ambassadors of Christ we may fail several times in our line of duty as the Apostle Peter but let us remember that we can ask Jesus to plead on our behalf. 2 Corinthians 2:14 says God always causes us to triumph.

You are a Victor in Jesus name

1. Pray for God to give you another chance to prove yourself in the coming week by doing better than you did in the week before.

Do you know why Jesus has not come back?
It’s because He has given you another chance
He sits in heaven
And pleads for us all

The blood that I shed
For the remission of sin for man
I died for them
Give them another chance
This is the way
Jesus pleads for us all.
