God is a righteous judge
Psalm 89:14
Justice and judgement are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.

There is a song that says

Ascribe greatness to the Lord our God
His way is perfect and all His ways are just
Our God of faithfulness
And without injustice
Good and upright is He

I would say a judge is someone who decides on who is guilty in a case based on evidence available.

The bible says, it is appointed unto man once to die and after that there would be judgement. (Hebrews 9:27). Everything we have done would be tested by God.

But we need not fear because God is a just God and He would not allow anything unjust to influence His final verdict. The verse above confirms that.

Human beings’ judgement is often influenced by envy, favouritism, jealousy pride and a desire for revenge in some cases.

God’s judgement is based on love and mercy.

John 5:30
I can of my own self do nothing:
As I hear, I judge: and my judgement is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

This verse also confirms that God is just. Stay away from sin and always obey the commandments of the Lord. God knows your heart and He will give you a fair judgement

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Determine in your heart that you will obey all God’s commands and serve Him faithfully.
2. Pray for grace and strength to fulfill this desire.
