Daily Word

Saved by grace
Exodus 33:19
And He said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will have mercy on whom I will show mercy.
It is stated clearly in this verse that God alone has the prerogative (right) to show grace, mercy and to give salvation.
Ephesians 2:8-9 says
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that is not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not because of works, lest any man should boast.
We have all been saved by grace not because of our righteousness or any good works we have done. Let’s remember to thank God always for the gift of salvation.
God be with you.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Do not take pride in your righteousness because the bible says all our righteousness is like filthy rags before God.
2. Pray daily for the grace to stay away from sin
3. Thank God for the gift of salvation always.
Prayer
Loving Father, thank you for the gift of salvation. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to you at all times. Amen.
