There is power in the blood of Jesus
Isaiah 1:11
To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the Lord: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, of lambs or of goats.
In the old testament, the Israelites offered the blood of their livestock for the forgiveness of their sin. This verse says clearly that the blood of these animals was not good enough for the atonement of their sins. God provided a better substitute, the blood of His beloved and only son.
Hebrews 9:14
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot be to God, purge your conscience from the dead works to serve the living God?
According to this verse, there is power in the blood of Jesus. Unlike the blood of bulls and goats, it is able to cleanse us from all our sins. Sins committed in the past and those to be committed in the future. It was a once and for all sacrifice for all times. The blood of Jesus can cleanse us fully.

How can I apply the word to my life?
1. Confess your sins at the end of each day and ask for forgiveness.
2. Mention sins you are aware of and ask God to cleanse you from those you are not aware of as well.

Thank you, God, that there is power in the blood of Jesus to cleanse us from our sin. Let the blood of your son cleanse all your children fully.
