“Our help” refers to God as the primary source of strength, rescue and active intervention. That is the message in the verse above

Scripture also says in Psalm 121:1-2 that
I will lift up my eyes to the mountains, where does my help come from? My help cometh from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth

Our help as christians comes from God alone

John 15:5b

This verse from the new testament confirms that all our help comes from the Lord. Without Him we can do nothing.
